About Intensives
How is an intensive different from regular therapy?
Where are intensives offered?
Intensives are offered in-person at my office at 2967 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL, and online via video for Florida residents. Occasionally sessions may occur at the client’s home. Out-of-state clients can access in-person intensive work through a retreat format during a visit to Sarasota.
Can different intensive modalities be combined?
Yes, absolutely. Many clients benefit significantly from combining modalities — for example, ART trauma work alongside Circle of Security parenting support, or psychedelic integration combined with a trauma processing intensive. I’ll recommend the combination that fits your specific needs during our consultation call.
Do I need to have decided about my marriage before I come?
Practical and Logistics
Do you accept insurance?
How much do intensives cost?
Intensives are priced at $225 per hour with a 3-hour minimum for most formats. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy requires a minimum of 9 hours, with the prescriber consultation and medicine billed separately. Payment plans are available by request; full payment is due by Day 1 of the intensive or retreat.
What about childcare during sessions?
What is your cancellation policy?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due on Day 1 of the intensive. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the scheduled start date will be charged the full amount. By booking, you have reserved that block of time exclusively for your program.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, payment plans are available upon request. Full payment is required by the first day of your intensive or retreat. Reach out and we’ll discuss what arrangement works for your situation.
About the Work
Will this work even if my situation is complicated?
Are intensives actually worth the investment?
Intensives consistently deliver results that would take many months of weekly therapy to achieve. When you factor in the total cost of 12+ months of weekly sessions, plus the ongoing cost of making major life decisions from a place of fear rather than clarity, the intensive format is frequently both more effective and more economical. But beyond cost: the clients I see most transformed are the ones who committed to doing concentrated, deep work rather than indefinitely delaying the breakthrough they needed.
