Where are Intensives offered?
Intensives are typically offered at my office located in Sarasota, Florida or can be done online with those residing in the state of Florida. Occasionally sessions may be offered at the client’s home. Those who do not reside in Florida may choose a retreat option which would include having a program specially designed to meet one’s needs while visiting the beautiful state of Florida.
ART is a unique approach to psychotherapy where a therapist guides the client to replace the repetitive images in the mind that cause symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and phobias with positive images. It’s typically done quickly, after one or two sessions.  Click here for a short video on ART.
TIR is a rapid (compared to traditional therapy) method of effectively reducing traumatic stress from emotionally and/or physically painful events in the past. It involves re-experiencing past traumas in a completely safe environment.
KAP is the use of prescribed doses of Ketamine with the support of a therapist. Research has shown that Ketamine can be extremely helpful of treatment resistant depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD and other conditions. It can also be used for those with pain and substance abuse issues.
Circle of Security Parenting (COS-P) is a program that helps caregivers build secure attachments with their children. The program is based on the idea that a healthy attachment between a parent and child is important for the child to develop resilience, self-esteem, and school readiness. Click here to learn more.
Yes, in some cases intensives may be combined. As an example, one may choose to do an Intensive involving ART and TIR.
Insurance is not accepted for trauma intensives. Payment plan options may be available upon request.
Intensives are $225 per hour with a minimum of 3 hours except for Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy which is a minimum of 9 hours. Note: cost of consultation with prescriber and medicine not included.
Yes, payment plans are available upon request. Full payment is required by the first day of the intensive/retreat.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable.

The remaining balance is due on Day 1 of the Intensive.

By booking the Intensive, you have purchased this time and it is yours unless you cancel at least 2 weeks prior to Day 1.

If you cancel the intensive within 2 weeks of the Intensive, you will be charged the total amount of the intensive package.

Intensives will provide you with results that would typically take months for you to achieve. When adding the cost of attending therapy weekly it may be that doing an intensive is more cost effective.
